Our team
Reverend Mr. George Gatere has over 20 years in Christian ministry and mission work. He also bears a wide range of experience in managing a children’s home, providing counselling to children from different walks of life, rescuing vulnerable and abused children, teaching on religious matters and mentorship.
Mrs. Grace Kibe is a primary school teacher by profession and an ordained preacher. She has served both roles for over 20 years, working in different areas including churches, community groups, children’s home, public and private schools. She collaborates with her husband on all his and her religious assignments. She is also well known for her roles in caregiving for children, and has managed to raise 2 (two) wonderful daughters who share in their passion for serving people.
Ms. Mary Muthoni is responsible for the day to day management of Kick Start Rescue Centre. Ms. Mary is very passionate about her work as she loves working with children. She also bears a wide range of experience in managing children’s home, providing guidance and counselling to children and teaching the word of God.
Ms. Casty Wairimu Kibe is not only a daughter to George and Grace, but also a volunteer for the Good Neighbours Ministry. Ms. Casty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Nairobi and has had experience working at a call Centre, in customer service, and as a programs officer for a women and workers’ rights organization. At Good Neighbours, she is in charge of all administrative work including proposal writing, grant applications, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and managing all extra-curricular activities for the children.
